I was watching a civil wartime move called Cold Mountain the other day and there was a scene at the end of the movie that caught my eye and ear. One of the young villains named Bosie is staring down the hero (Inman) while on their horses and debating on whether to fight and shoot each other, or simply move on and live their lives now that Bosie’s boss, the primary villain is dead. While debating the advantages disadvantages with each other of staying to fight or riding away, Bosie matter of factly states “I got one thing on my sidethe confidence of youth” right before jumping off of his horse and taking a shot at Inman.
Exactly. I was very upset that the announcers after Mat won were taking away his moment by repeatedly saying they thought Vellner (or others) could give him a run for his money if things played out differently. The fact is that Mat is the best let the guy have his time on top, he clearly deserves it..
Where many artists saw mixtapes as a mere opportunity for alternative distribution, Lil Wayne saw a chance to improve. He started the decade out as an underrated pop rapper, but over the course of dozens of tapes, Wayne became one of the most respected MCs on the planet. The Squad Up series saw the most growth, and his Drought 3 got the critical acclaim, but it’s Dedication 2 that stands as his most well constructed tape.

In the 19th century, a hospital for infectious diseases was housed on North Brother Island. The facility had its share of controversy: Poor medical practices and harsh climates led to a high death rate, and, oh yeah this was also the place that let Typhoid Mary out into the city and started the second round of a lethal Typhoid Fever epidemic back in the early 1900s. They eventually recaptured her and quarantined her on the island until her death.
In addition, the insoles will use a special graphic as a tribute to Michael Jordan appearing on David Letterman’s show. They feature “On Air” along with a microphone. If you haven’t seen the interview, Letterman talks to Michael Jordan about his 63 point playoff performance, some of his endorsements which lead to speaking about the Nike Air Jordan 1.

And since that time, only ten men have had the honor of following in their footsteps. But with plans to return to the Moon, a new generation of lunar explorers is sure to be coming soon.
